Criteria Education Accreditation

Criterion I – Mission:

The institution’s focus on academic programs, research, scholarship, and instruction must be adequately disclosed to the public.

  1. The institution has a widely published mission statement—approved by its governing board—that articulates a purpose appropriate for an institution of higher learning, gives direction for its efforts, and derives from, and is generally understood by, its community.
  2. The institution defines mission fulfilment in the context of its purpose, characteristics, and expectations. Guided by that definition, it articulates institutional accomplishments or outcomes that represent an acceptable threshold or extent of mission fulfilment.

  2. The institution values and supports effective teaching.
  3. The institution creates effective learning environments.
  4. The institution’s learning resources support student learning and effective teaching.

Criterion IV – Application of Knowledge :

In line with its mission, the institution supports and fosters inquiry, creativity, practice, and social responsibility in order to help its faculty, staff, students, and administration live lives of learning.

  1. The institution demonstrates, through the actions of its board, administrators, students, faculty, and staff, that it values a life of learning.
  2. The institution demonstrates that acquisition of a breadth of knowledge and skills and the exercise of intellectual inquiry are integral to its educational programs.
  3. The institution assesses the usefulness of its curricula to students who will live and work in a global, diverse, & technological society.
  4. The institution provides support to ensure that faculty, students, and staff acquire, discover, and apply knowledge responsibly.

Criterion V – Resources, Planning, and Institutional Effectiveness :

The company has the systems, practices, and assets required to accomplish its objectives, improve the caliber of its programs, and seize new chances as they present themselves. The company intends for the future.

  1. The institution realistically prepares for a future shaped by multiple societal and economic trends.
  2. The institution’s resource base supports its educational programs and its plans for maintaining and strengthening their quality in the future.
  3. The institution’s ongoing evaluation and assessment processes provide reliable evidence of institutional effectiveness that clearly informs strategies for continuous improvement.
  4. All levels of planning align with the institution’s mission, thereby enhancing its capacity to fulfil that mission.

IACG (International Accreditation Consortium Group ) is an independent organization that works to improve the technical foundation for conformity assessments in order to foster trust in goods and services. We provide accreditation services for management system certification bodies, ensuring that they are competent to assess and certify organizations against internationally recognized standards. IACG accreditation is a valuable asset for management system certification bodies. It demonstrates to potential clients that your organization is competent, impartial, and operates in accordance with internationally recognized standards. IACG accreditation also gives you access to the WAB (Worldwide Accreditation Board), which means that your certificates are accepted by over 100 accreditation bodies worldwide.

We accredit certification bodies (CBs) that assess organizations against relevant standards. This helps to ensure that organizations are meeting the highest standards in their industry.

There are many benefits to IACG accreditation, including:

    • Increased customer confidence
    • Reduced risk
    • Enhanced reputation
    • Increased market access

IACG offers a wide range of accreditation schemes for CBs, covering a variety of management systems, products, processes, and personnel. Some of the most popular IACG accreditation schemes include:

    • Management system certification (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001)
